Día de los Muertos Magnets — Vol. IV: The Candlelit Procession
Día de los Muertos Magnets — Vol. IV
Inspired by years spent photographing San Francisco's Día de los Muertos celebrations, this collection continues an exploration of memory, remembrance, and the quiet beauty found between worlds.
These works are not an attempt to redefine, reinterpret, or speak for Día de los Muertos. They are simply artistic reflections inspired by the imagery, symbolism, and moments of remembrance I have been privileged to witness through the years.
Created from original photographic inspirations and transformed through my evolving artistic process, these images blend candlelight, marigolds, ancestral symbolism, and dreamlike storytelling into a series of collectible works.
Each magnet represents a small fragment of that journey—a tribute to memory, tradition, and the enduring connections that remain long after the candles have burned low.
Part of the ongoing Día de los Muertos archive.
