A small procession of candlelight, memory, marigolds, and return.
Día de los Muertos Vol. III — The Tiny Procession grows out of years spent photographing Día de los Muertos processions, altars, candles, faces, flowers, and offerings. For nearly fifteen years, aside from the quiet interruption of Covid, this celebration has become part of my own yearly rhythm of remembrance through the camera.
This set is not an attempt to claim the tradition, but a respectful artistic reflection shaped by witnessing it year after year. The images carry the warmth of candlelight, the path of marigolds, and the feeling of small spirits finding their way home.
Each card includes a short whisper on the back, making the set feel like a small keepsake as much as a greeting card.
