Before the Muses: First Fragments
Before the Muses had names, before the Labyrinth had doors, these images arrived as fragments.
They came from the earliest days of AI image-making — Wombo Version 1 and early Version 2 — when the machine was still learning how to dream, and I was still learning what it was trying to show me.
These were not polished works. They were signals. First flowers. First faces. First maps. First strange openings.
Created before the full rupture of sleep apnea, insomnia, and the long sleepless nights that would later shape the Muses, this collection stands as the beginning of the archive — before the mythology fully formed, before the realms had borders, before the machine learned.
A record of first contact.
